qualified Telemetry RN in Stockbridge, Georgia, 30281! Pay

BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - Experience with arrhythmia management and
cardiac drips - Basic arrhythmia knowledge - Experience with
hemodynamic monitoring - Experience with post PCI care Description:
Minimum experience required is 1 year. First-time travelers are not
accepted. Patient population includes adults to geriatrics. The
unit handles overflow from IMCU. Patients with conditions such as
CHF, chest pain, renal, and pulmonary issues are common. Cardiac
arrhythmias, including stable A-Fib, SVT, and bradycardia, are
managed. Surgical patients may include those recovering from
cholecystectomies, appendectomies, and chest tubes. Occasional
vascular, post-cardiac cath, and DKA patients are included. Ortho
or CVA patient overflow may occur, but these patients are
transferred promptly. The nurse must be proficient with various
cardiac drips, including amiodarone, cardizem, dobutamine,
dopamine, nitroglycerin, milrinone, heparin, argatroban, aggrastat,
bumex, and lasix. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:5-6 in a 32-bed
unit. Experience with electronic health records, medication
management systems, and effective communication is preferred.
Maximum request for time off is 7 days. Travelers are expected to
work every other weekend. Floating between units is required within
the facility. Call requirements are rare, with a response time of 2
hours. Travelers are expected to work one major holiday during the
assignment. If three major holidays occur during the assignment
period, travelers are expected to work two of them. Full compliance
with onboarding requirements is necessary to start on time.
Candidates will be reviewed for clinical fit before final
decision-making. Reference checks are required prior to employment.
Travelers should be prepared to submit all necessary documentation
promptly to ensure timely onboarding. Local candidates are
