Job Description:

Coverage Needed:

• As soon as credentialed - July 13, 2025
• Schedule: Day shift, hours may vary from 7 AM to 7 PM Clinical Details:
  • Provide care for children and adults; some experience with HIV is helpful
  • Patient population: primarily adults ages 18-65 or geriatric patients ages over 65
    • May also include care for infant age 0-1 year, child ages 1-12 years or adolescent ages 13-17 years
    • Environment: Public service, clinic setting, servicing homeless and underserved populations on an outpatient basis
    • Patient Volume: 10-12 patients per day
    • EMR: Epic
    • Support Staff: 6 mid-levels provide coverage
    • Must be comfortable performing pelvic exams, pap smears, and employment physicals
    • Must be willing to be trained to work with HIV candidates and Integrated BH (will not be permanent duties but may be asked to cover in these areas of the clinic)
    • Equipment: Defibrillator available Requirements:
      • Active GA license and DEA
      • Board Certified FM or IM
      • Graduation from a state-approved school with a specialty in Family Practice or Internal Medicine
        • IM - Preferred
        • 5+ years of experience post-training
        • BLS certification
        • Local candidates only
        • Bilingual in Spanish - Highly Preferred
        • Familiarity and experience in treating medically underserved and immigrant populations, including dealing with patients of diverse backgrounds, with experience in treating the homeless - Highly Preferred
        • Experience in supervising professional staff and/or administrative experience - Highly Preferred
