The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care. Local candidates within 50 miles are not considered for this position.Responsibilities:- Provide nursing care in an inpatient surgical unit with a focus on orthopedics.- Monitor patient vital signs, administer medications, and perform medical procedures as needed.- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.- Educate patients and their families about health conditions and treatment plans.- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.- In patient surgical unit comprised of 32 private rooms. - Patient population is a medical surgical unit with orthopedics.Requirements:- Minimum of 2 years of experience within the specialty.- Required BLS and NIH certification. Preferred ACLS certification.- Experience in a medical surgical unit General and Bariatric Surgery- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-stress environment.Quick Med Staffing Job ID #2025-83358.
