Job Description:

Respiratory Therapist required to support shift activities, provide expert care, and maintain a collaborative team environment.





Supports the supervision of shift activities and acts as the expert during assigned shifts. Duties include:

--- Daily support of staffing and assignments
--- Providing resource support
--- Supporting preceptor tasks
--- Fulfilling assigned patient care workload

Serves as a role model and advocates a highly efficient, accountable, and collaborative team environment between staff and with physicians.

Delivers the highest standards of patient safety and quality of care.

**Required Hours:**

--- Days shift: 7am-7pm

**Qualifications:**

--- **Minimum Education Required:**
+ Requires an Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences
--- **Minimum Experience Required:**
+ Minimum of two years clinical experience in respiratory care
+ Current BCLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
+ Proficient in all patient care settings (i.e., adult ICU, NICU)
--- **Minimum Licensure/Certification Required by Law:**
+ Is a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
+ Has and maintains a current licensure as a Respiratory Care Professional in the state of Georgia
