Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Piedmont Cartersville Medical Center. As a Lead Respiratory Therapist, you will play a key role in supporting the supervision of shift activities and serving as an expert during your assigned shift.Key Responsibilities

• Supports the supervision of shift activities and acts as the expert during assigned shifts.
• Provides daily support of staffing and assignments, resource support, preceptor tasks, and patient care workload.
• Serves as a role model and advocates a highly efficient, accountable, and collaborative team environment between staff and physicians.
• Delivers the highest standards of patient safety and quality of care.Requirements
  • Requires an Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences.
  • Minimum of two years clinical experience in respiratory care.
  • Current BCLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required.
  • Proficient in all patient care settings (i.e., adult ICU, NICU).
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) and current licensure as a Respiratory Care Professional in the state of Georgia.Additional QualificationsN/A
