Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM (12-hour shift) 48-60 hours of on-call every 4 weeks; weekend on-call is required Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum 1 year and 6 months of relevant experience License: GA or Compact License Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association (AHA) certified Must-Have: Experience with all 3s and 4s for cardiac and vascular procedures; strong endovascular experience Job Description: - Conduct pre-operative and post-operative care in the Cardiovascular Operating Room. - Expected to float to General Operating Room as needed. - Participate in on-call duties, including weekends, and manage time effectively for work-life balance. - Collaborate with surgical and healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient care. - Utilize strong endovascular experience to assist in complex procedures. - Maintain knowledge and expertise in neurosurgery, surgical oncology, and robotics when applicable. - Adhere to the hospital's dress code, wearing navy blue scrubs. - Utilize on-call rooms for rest as needed during on-call shifts. - Demonstrate flexibility in scheduling and adapt to dynamic healthcare environments.
