Job DescriptionThis is a 25 bed nursing unit with four rooms designed for semi-private occupancy. It is a med/surg unit designated to care for patients with renal and gastro illnesses, as well as other general medical patients in time of high census. As the designated renal medical unit, this unit specializes in caring for patients that require peritoneal dialysis and is the preferred unit for these patients to be placed if clinically appropriate. Care is provided for a wide variety of illnesses and symptoms, including but not limited to:End stage renal disease requiring hemodialysisEnd stage renal disease requiring peritoneal dialysisRhabdomyolysisAcute kidney injuryAcute renal failureHematuria requiring continuous bladder irrigationUlcerative ColitisChron's diseaseLiver cirrhosisGastrointestinal hemorrhageAbdominal pain (non-surgical), N/V/D, gastritisCholecystitisOther medical patients in times of high censusWe are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
