We are seeking a Registered Nurse for a FLOATER position. Must be able to float between 1st and 2nd Shifts.

    As a Registered Nurse, you will provide direct care nursing and will also be responsible for administering medications, providing medical treatments, completing admissions, and actively engage with the youth served and their families/guardians.

    * For your protection, all Nurses will be fit-tested for the N95 mask. An N95 mask will be worn when working with children with infections. A medical evaluation will be completed, unless exempt under the standards.

    Qualifications
    Education and Experience:
    
    • 
      
    • 
      Completion of accredited RN program andcurrent Georgia Nursing License required.
      
      
    • 
      Six months to one (1) year of Nursing experience is highly preferred.
      
      
    • 
      Experience in psychiatric nursing with children or adolescents is a plus.
      
      
      Other qualifications:
      
      • 
        
      • 
        Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
        
        
      • 
        Valid Driver's License and Satisfactory Drug Screen and Background Check results.
        
        
      • 
        Weekend availability and holidays required.
        
        
      • 
        Must be able to complete a two-week, paid new hire orientation class; hours are approximately 8:30am to 5:30pm daily.
        
        
      • 
        Devereux requires all individuals interviewing for a position involving contact with children to complete The Diana Screen, a screening that assesses a candidate's understanding of appropriate boundaries between adults and children.

        The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) COVID-19 vaccine mandate requires all employees to be fully vaccinated .If already fully vaccinated, you will need to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination or have an approved medical or religious exemption prior to starting.
