Responsibilities

How would you like to work in a practice where you know you are making a difference for others? Wellstar's Family Medicine Practice has a new opening for a motivated and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse. This is a full-time Career position with our Wellstar practice located near Cobb Medical Center in Austell, Georgia.

The LPN functions under the direction of the Physician, Clinical Lead and Office Manager. The LPN recognizes patient's needs and symptoms in advance and provides care for the patient under the physician's direction. This includes preparing patients for exams, assisting during treatments, coordination of tests and follow-up care and recording treatment in medical record. The LPN helps with patient/family education and demonstrates competency and skills to serve patients of all ages.

Qualifications

Required Minimum Education:

Graduate from a practical or vocational nursing program.

Required Minimum Licensure/Certification:

Current/active license as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Georgia.

Must have a current BLS card from the American Heart Association prior to hire date.
