Family Practice/Primary Care opening in Stockbridge, Georgia. WE OFFER OUR ADVANCED PRACTICE:

• Ability to see an average of 18-20 patients/day

• Limited on-call duties (phone call only, 1 week/year)
  
  ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Outpatient medical consultation services under supervision of a physician in our medical office.
  • Evaluating, diagnosing, and treating new and existing patient s medical conditions.
  • Conducting follow-up patient care.
  • Ordering and interpreting lab, radiology, and other diagnostic study results.
  • Prescribing and referring patients for consultations when appropriate.
  • Answering emergency telephone calls after hours and weekends on a rotating schedule.
  • Administer and order drugs for patients.
  • Complete all notes/tasks in patient s EMR account indicating patient status and treatment procedures performed.
  • Perform patient physicals.
  • Providing health education to patients and families.
  • Supervising/coordinating the activities of patient care and support staff within the clinic.
  • Performs other duties as assigned in accordance with a provider protocol agreement.
