Job Description:

$10,000 Sign On Bonus Plans, coordinates, supervises, and carries out the activities of the nuclear medicine area. Work is carried out in an independent, professional manner with minimal supervision. Education
High School Diploma plus 1 year vocational school Experience
Six months of related experience Licenses & Certifications
*ACLS Certification
*Healthcare (CPR)
*Radiologic Technologist Qualifications
*ACLS-If ACLS certification is not possessed at time of hire, employee must obtain ACLS Certification within nine months of hire date.
*Graduate of an approved 2-year Radiological Technology/Nuclear Medicine program.
*Must be proficient in Nuclear Medicine Technology.
*Must be Registered Technologist.
*Will accept ARRT, or NMTCB, or ARRT (Nuclear Medicine).
Requirements:
Area of Responsibilities
*Demonstrates the ability to obtain and interpret information in terms of patient's needs.
*Perform nuclear medicine procedures.
*Responsible for CQI related duties.
*Responsible for maintenance of proper patient records.
*Responsible for ongoing continuing education to maintain registry.
*And performs other related duties.
*Demonstrates competency in patient care according to the age of the patient and population served.
*Demonstrates knowledge of growth and development.
*Demonstrates understanding of the range of treatment needed by these patients (age and diagnosis).
*Responsible for nuclear medicine maintenance on equipment including proper records.
*Responsible for QA/QC programs. Compliance Statement
Employee performs within the prescribed limits of Tanner Health System's Ethics and Compliance program. Is responsible to detect, observe, and report compliance variances to their immediate supervisor, the Compliance Officer, or the Hotline. Education
