Specialty: RN-Post Operations/Recovery Room TravelJob Description Post-operative nurses provide intensive care to patients as they awaken from anesthesia after a surgical procedure. Responsible for all aspects of patient care after they've had surgery Monitor vital signs, administer medication for pain and nausea, update and educate the family, and transfer to the inpatient unit or discharge depending on the acuity of the patient.
