The world leader in providing diagnostic service is seeking bright and professional candidates to join their team.Position: Pre-Analytical AssistantLocation: Tucker, GAShift: - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -Tuesday - Saturday: 4:30am to 1:00pm --- Training Schedule will be Tuesday - Saturday 4:30am to 1:00pm for the first 90 to 120 days of employment.Job Duties:

• Handles multiple tasks simultaneously and works in a production environment. Communicates effectively with all levels of staff both verbally and written
• Maintains composure while working under pressure
• Reflects good judgment at all times when determining what action to take in resolving problems
• Adheres to safety, compliance and work process policies and procedures
• Works in a biohazard environment, in compliance with all applicable safety requirements
• Able to sit, stand or walk for long periods; able to lift up to 50 lbs.; maneuver large carts and/or racks with specimens
• Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills that foster a positive working environmentRequirements:
  • High School diploma or GED
  • A minimum of 1 year paid working experience
  • Medical background preferred which includes medical terminology applicable to a clinical laboratory
  • Customer service attitude
  • Previous experience in a production environment preferred
  • Prefer familiarity with mainframe computers
