  • You are responsible for workingas a team with other emergency response personnel in all disciplines ofemergency care to deliver high quality care in a fast-paced setting.
  • You are responsible fortriaging patients, responding timely and making accurate decisions inorder to provide stabilizing care to individuals in a crisis.
  • You must be able to respond toemergencies while assuring open communication with patients and theirfamilies, as well as other emergency medical professionals to provide andensure proper and accurate medical therapeutic intervention.
  • You are responsible forperforming direct patient care using the nursing process of assessment,planning, intervention, implementation and evaluation of all assignedpatients, infancy through life span. Cartersville Medical Center is a 119 bed acutecare hospital, Level III Trauma, Chest Pain Center, Certified Primary StrokeCenter and Gold Seal Inpatient Diabetes program accredited by the JointCommission. The Breast Imaging Center of Excellence at The Women s Centerprovides mammography services that are gold seal accredited by the AmericanCollege of Radiology. The Hope Center, a regional, Commission on Cancerapproved cancer treatment facility, is conveniently located on the hospitalcampus and provides over 4,000 treatments with over 300 new patients per yearfrom a ten county region.     • Previous ER/Critical Careexperience preferred.
    • Outstanding customer service abilitiesand effective listening skills.
    • Graduate of accredited Schoolof Nursing with a current GA RN license.
    • BLS Certification requiredwithin 90 days of hire or promotion.
    • ACLS and PALS certificationrequired within 6 months of hire or promotion.
    • Complete de-escalation classwithin 6 months of hire.
