Job Description:

*This position doesn't require relocation to the Atlanta area and can be done remotely* The primary objective of the Vice President (VP), Network Operations is to manage the underlying transportation cost. The VP, Network Operations will develop and manage a team responsible for Network Operations. The VP will lead a number of initiatives to grow our existing network of transportation providers, actively manage daily escalations, establish a data-centric daily cadence, create a set of KPIs that contributes to consistent network performance and be responsible for managing Transportation Provider performance. Additionally, the Vice President will support internal requests requiring input from our support services that need Network feedback, reaction, or creation. Responsibilities require include Network Capacity, Organic Growth, KPIs related to Transportation Provider performance, and Network Relationship Building. The role requires a set of skills and traits such as execution excellence, communication, executive presence, collaboration, analytics, data aptitude, team building, and accountability. This person will be relied upon to work constructively with prospective Transportation Providers, clients, sales, product, and operations teams to deliver recommendations on service design and feasibility. Lastly, it is expected that this person is comfortable leading business development activities, including the identification and conversion of transportation providers to LogistiCare Circulation Transportation Providers. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS *Own the Network Operations function, leading a large team of Directors, Managers, and Analysts *Responsible for Network Capacity, Organic Growth, KPIs related to Transportation Provider performance, and Network Relationship Building *Be a key executive contributor to the network digitization efforts as we transition LogistiCare's existing network onto the Circulation platform *Ensure competitive positioning of our model vs. competitors by developing partnership-driven network marketing initiatives and providing TPs with new, innovative value add services *Interface with product team to prioritize new product features impactful to our network development activities *Serve as the figurehead for network development efforts *Introduce new business models for TP payment, contracting, and value add services *Interface with the sales/RFP teams to develop analysis and network implementation plans *Ensuring Network Capacity: consistent network development Managing Cost of Transportation (unit cost) *Performing HR oversight for Management level employees. *Liaise with other departments on capacity strategies, develop & oversee execution of action plans *Ensures overall network health for the assigned market/area through on-going network development and individual provider relations support *Executes on-going network development to prevent network deficiencies and meet or exceed budgeted unit cost. *Manages transportation provider network contracts from a leadership level to ensure that performance criteria are met and maintained *Develop metrics and implement plans to execute on-going network development to manage network deficiencies. Ensure delivery and review of the provider performance reviews *Supports the negotiations with provider networks to meet budgeted costs *Oversight of corrective action plan administrations for transportation provider contract deficiencies and approves liquidated damages as appropriate *Approves new provider contracts, settlement deductions and other payments as needed. *Engages in provider relations support to initiatives for overall provider business management support (i.e. assisting with grants for vehicles, strategies for hiring and maintaining quality drivers) *Responsible for overall platform utilization (transition & implementation). *Develops ongoing relationship with key transportation providers & outside agencies relevant to network health and provider business support. *Manages problem resolution and quality monitoring including provider complaint reports. Other duties as assigned. Education *Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience Experience *3 to 5 years of relevant experience required *Experience in the medical or human services transportation preferred 2 to 3 years of leadership experience required *Transportation, routing, or, dispatching experience and/or knowledge of transit system a plus Knowledge of Medicaid guidelines a plus SKILLS & ABILITIES *10+ years of experience in an overall commercial/business function having held leadership roles in recognized innovative organizations; healthcare experience preferred 
 *Experience in a fast growth, high-paced, and performance-based environment *Strong quantitative analytical skills and the ability to translate data into meaningful stories *Self-starter that's comfortable with ambiguity and excited by the notion of disrupting an industry by executing on unproven strategies *Outstanding leadership abilities *Knowledge of organizational planning, budgetary administration and controls Knowledge of statistical and financial analysis techniques WORK ENVIRONMENT The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
