• Ph.D. or equivalent degree in an agricultural, business, or related discipline.
• A master's degree in an agricultural, business, or related discipline with directly applicable experience would also be considered.Position SummaryThis position develops project-based learning opportunities within the UGA Innovation District with varied industry partners to cultivate the knowledge and technology needed to improve productivity, profitability, and sustainability of industries in agriculture.Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies
  • Proven track record of partnering with corporate entities.
  • Proven ability to network with diverse audiences and develop plans, programs, and agreements to achieve mutual goals.
  • Excellence in project management, organization, and tracking progress towards established goals.
  • Ability to collect and analyze data including student, employment, and organizational information.Duties/Responsibilities
    • Oversees the development and implementation of a strategic plan for industry outreach to build and enhance research projects, educational opportunities, and internships based in the UGA Innovation District.
    • Creates new and durable collaborative models with corporate partners.
    • Promotes CAES and the University's capabilities, coordinates faculty interactions with companies.
