Public Finance Research Cluster
The Andrew Young School of Policy Studies (AYSPS) is at the
forefront of impactful research, addressing critical public policy
issues that shape decision making in legislatures, school
districts, governments, and non-profits. The school's esteemed
Public Finance Research Cluster (PFRC), home to the Center for
State and Local Finance (CSLF), Fiscal Research Center (FRC), and
International Center for Public Policy (ICePP), work with various
local, national, international organizations and governments to
engage in research, economic technical assistance projects, and
training programs.
PFRC is seeking candidates who are eager to join our team in the
role of Finance Officer. This position is categorized as sponsor
funded full-time. This sponsor-funded position will actively
participate in the PFRC financial, contract management, and
business management process and perform a variety of related
activities.

Public Finance Research Cluster is seeking (1) a dedicated and
experienced Finance Officer.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Prepare and manage the reconciliation process.
Prepare data for monthly account reconciliation, monitor and track
expenditures in alignment with grant purposes and applicable
rules.
Process travel requests and travel reimbursements.
Prepare financial data related to proposals, grants, and
contracts.
Manage a variety of financial and administrative tasks and
processes as needed.
Other ad-hoc duties and responsibilities assigned by the manager
per business needs.
Assist administrative staff, as needed.
This position is full-time benefits eligible through the University
System of Georgia and is supported through sponsor-funded projects.

Qualifications: Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree and two years of administrative experience, or a
combination of education and experience.
Preferred Hiring Requirements:
Bachelor's degree and two years of finance experience; or a
combination of education and related experience
Experience with financial processes, contract administration, and
business management activities in an organization.
Understanding of general business and financial policies and
procedures of an organization.
Experience with Microsoft Office especially Excel formulas and
pivot tables.
