Job Description:
A leading food service packaging company is seeking a Director
of National Accounts for their South Eastern Division.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Sales Growth:
- Identify and secure national accounts across various
channels.
- Manage relationships with national accounts, utilizing
distribution, e-commerce, direct, and other platforms.
- Serve as the key relationship holder and product expert for
assigned national accounts.
- Coordinate with brokers and sales teams to drive new
sales.Customer Management:
- Handle pricing, bids, contracts, and promotional
activities.
- Provide sales support through sample handling, tradeshows,
forecasting, and product training.
- Coordinate creative services and customer service for issue
resolution.
- Oversee new customer onboarding processes.Internal Support:
- Report sales funnel activities and utilize the company database
for data mining.
- Maintain awareness of market and business intelligence.
- Manage expense reports and sales-related paperwork.
- Support VP of Sales and/or President with district management,
product training, and show coverage.
Skills / Competencies:
- Proven ability to sell and manage national accounts.
- Strong collaboration and coordination skills.
- Continuous improvement mindset.
- Experience with sales strategy implementation, customer
intelligence, and competitive analysis.
