Director, Individual Giving Campaigns Full Time Regular Professional Resource Development, Atlanta, GA, US 3 days ago Requisition ID: 2072 Salary Range: $70,000.00 To 75,000.00 Annually JOB DESCRIPTION Job Title: Director, Individual Giving Campaigns Department: Resource Development Reports To: Senior Director, Individual Giving Status: JOB SUMMARY: The position of Director, Individual Giving Campaigns will manage and oversee growth of online fundraising and engagement programs by executing strategies and techniques via email, website promotions, and other digital channels. The DIGC will partner closely with the CDO, the VP of Institutional Giving and Individual Giving, the Sr. Director of Individual Giving, the Programs and Operations team, development colleagues, senior leadership, board members, advisory board members and donors to ensure BGCMA raises the necessary resources to fulfill its mission. Together, the Individual Giving Team is charged with growing annual support from individuals at all giving levels to enable our RISE2025 Strategic Plan goal to serve more kids, more often, with greater impact. Key qualities of an outstanding candidate are strong relationship-building and communication skills, a self-starter, superb organizational and project management abilities, and creative thinking skills. Equally important is the ability to work productively and proactively, both independently and as part of a team. - ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Oversee digital fundraising and engagement initiatives to acquire, renew and retain donors
  • Oversee creation and execution of online cultivation, stewardship and engagement communications, as well as direct solicitation
  • Develop and manage emails, landing pages, tools and graphics for online fundraising activities, including donation forms, e-commerce store and event management.
  • Implement Peer-to-Peer fundraising initiatives and Giving Day campaigns.
  • Coordinate with other members of the Membership department on omni-channel fundraising campaigns, ensuring the creation and delivery of strategic support messaging is consistent across all platforms
  • Work within an existing brand voice, both in visual representation and editorial style, in order to support the consistency of messaging across campaigns and the organization.
  • Develop and test new initiatives and innovative concepts for public media fundraising.
  • Liaise with the Marketing and Communications department on management of fundraising tools on website and social media engagement and serve as digital content manager for RD
  • Compliments online brand communications calendar with fundraising appeal that aligns with brand and marketing initiatives.
  • Liaise with external strategy and software partners to manage execution of online fundraising best practices.
  • Stay abreast of industry best practices, within public media, among nonprofits more broadly and in the commercial sector.
  • Manages individual giving portfolio of donors between $500-$2,499
  • Manages and stewards individual giving portfolio of recurring (monthly) donors and former BGCMA county board members
  • Reviews, deciphers and builds digital fundraising strategy based on donor data EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS: Education
    • Bachelor's Degree preferred - Experience
      • 5 years of related work in direct-response fundraising
      • Experience writing and managing direct mail campaigns required
      • Planned Giving experience preferred
      • Experience with building and maintaining donation forms, surveys, and other user engagement features, and running reports/interpreting audience analytics required -
      • Experience with Photoshop, web design, and HTML -
      • Proficiency in, Blackbaud products, Luminate, and Raiser's Edge - Knowledge
        • Strong grasp of the donor engagement cycle
        • Well-versed in direct mail and digital fundraising best practices and implementation
        • Knowledge of and proven ability to develop and implement digital fundraising strategies. Skills
          • Demonstrated track record of developing and executing successful individual-giving strategies
          • Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
          • Must be strategic and forward-thinking
          • The ability to manage several projects simultaneously is a must
          • Goal-oriented with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines
          • Ability to gather, analyze and communicate data results
          • Ability to work easily with board members, lead volunteers and connect with all club constituencies
          • Detail-oriented
          • Positive attitude and undeniable passion for playing a role in fulfilling the organization's mission. ENVIRONMENT & WORKING CONDITIONS: Normal internal office environment. Able to travel throughout the Metro Atlanta area to attend donor meetings and events; some evenings and weekends required. Occasional need to travel to club locations within the Metro Atlanta area. Frequent internal contacts with employees throughout organization required. Opportunity to work remotely 2-3 days per week. - The position requires walking and climbing stairs; Light work, exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently.
