What you'll do:
As an IT Manager at FACTS SIS, you are instrumental in helping lead
our product development teams. You'll use our core values to guide
decisions and behaviors in order to elevate our culture within your
team and across the organization. This includes defining quality,
efficiency, and development best practices. In addition to having
strong leadership and communication skills, the ability to build
strong relationships with other departments is important in your
role.
Salary Range: $110,000-$120,000
As an IT Manager, a typical day might include:
Coaching, motivating and professionally developing team members at
all levels, helping to set and model desired quality techniques
Responsibility for product or initiative delivery, which includes
quality, efficiency and timeliness of work being done
Effectively communicating initiatives/product statuses, working
with Product Owner and Team to address stakeholder
issues/concerns
Assisting Agile teams in implementing designs for large-scale
software projects
Participating in discussions/design of where our systems are today,
where we want to take them tomorrow, and how we can best get
there.
Setting clear objectives and evaluating performance of team
members.
Creating a culture that makes room for failure and learning.
Contributing to strategic planning decisions such as budget and
staffing plans.
You Have:
Minimum 3 years leadership experience in IT or equivalent
experience
Excellent judgment and are considered a trustworthy person
Strong desire to learn, push the envelope, and share knowledge with
others
Experience mentoring others and/or leading a significant change
within a team
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Ability to communicate with direct reports, clients, colleagues,
and management to explain complex issues clearly and concisely.
