Job Description:

Position Mission: Deliver industry leading sales and market share growth in Heavy Duty products through the NAPA Stores. Partner with NAPA DC's, NAPA Stores, and NAPA HD Suppliers to grow the segment faster than the industry. Assist the HD Category team in building sales programs and promotions that execute on this mission.Position Performance Measures:--- Sales Quota for HD through the NAPA Stores.--- Sales Growth in the key HD lines--- Build and maintain a sustainable strategic program for the NAPA Store to grow HD market share. --- Expand the number of NAPA Stores offering the NAPA HD Program--- Expand NAPA Truck Center MembershipResponsibilities: --- Work closely with HD Category dept to build and enhance the NAPA HD Store Program and product offering--- Work with the NAPA DC Sales Team and ASMs to implement the NAPA HD Program in more stores and according to expectations.--- Be the voice of the internal and external HD customer. This would include the heavy duty repair/fleet customer and the internal NAPA Sales Team.--- Build monthly and quarterly sales programs that garnish new HD customers and more share of wallet from current customers. This would include national agreements and rebate programs.--- Communicate NAPA's HD strategy to the field organization including all NAPA Store management and ownership.--- Develop the best way for the NAPA store to go to market with HD.--- Work closely with HD category team on compliance and government regulations.--- Communicates HD regulations to store managers and owners.--- Partners with AutoCare Truck Service Centers to define and design competitive programs for HD products. Develop programs to help increase shop owners sales and ease of use. --- Meets with store owners and industry council meetings to influence the market and stay ahead of market changes.--- Partner with and build effective relationships among HD Supplier base to enhance training, market share and salesExperience, Education, Abilities, and Work Environment: (what does a person accepting the position have to bring with them to successfully fulfill the minimum job responsibilities. Include working conditions here as well.)--- 5+ years of experience within HD industry.--- 5+ years of sales experience.--- 4 year degree or equivalent work experience.--- Demonstrated presentation skills which include speaking in front of audiences and using of PowerPoint--- Must display considerable independence, creativity, and originality of thought--- Experience with strategic mindset and process orientation--- Possesses sense of urgency and relentless competitive drive--- Detail oriented--- Must have the ability to execute and follow through--- Ability to efficiently analyze data.--- Excellent verbal and written communication skills--- Strong listening, influencing and negotiating skills --- Experience with conducting training - face to face, web, tablet, etc. --- Ability to interact cross-functionally and to act in a multi-cultural environment--- Ability to use organizational and planning skills, time management, and meet deadlines--- Ability to relocate is a plus--- Travel between 50-75% should be expected--- Remote work conditions are available--- Must be familiar with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams -Ability to utilize technology provided to conduct business in an efficient mannerGPC conducts its business without regard to sex, race, creed, color, religion, marital status, national origin, citizenship status, age, pregnancy, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, genetic information, disability, military status, status as a veteran, or any other protected characteristic.
