We are actively seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic, and talented professional with a background in leading a Program Management Office (PMO) and driving project management process consistency across consulting programs. - The role reports directly to Peloton's COO and provides an opportunity to work with consulting professionals in a high energy, entrepreneurial and high career growth environment. We are particularly looking for individuals who have experience with setting the strategic vision of the PMO, drive the roadmap for PMO capabilities, and ensure alignment across the organization, including sales and our delivery practices. The ideal candidate can think and lead strategically and will have strong business acumen, facilitation, and communication skills to manage the PMO in close collaboration with our Delivery Practice and Industry Portfolio teams. Responsibilities: -
As the PMO Practice Leader, you will be responsible for:

  • Setting Strategic Vision
    • Assess Peloton's existing program management processes, tools and templates and create a strategic roadmap to develop future capabilities.
    • Capabilities should be in alignment with Project Management Institute (PMI) guidelines and drive value to our clients in support of business transformation, technology enablement and/or organizational change.
    • Vision and execution roadmap should balance both Peloton and client business objectives.
    • Delivery Quality
      • Quality of the work and service provided by all resources within the practice. This covers quality control of the program management deliverables and associated client and team communications aligned with the full life cycle of project initiation, requirements, design, develop, test, deploy, and transition.
      • Ensure standard PMO methodologies and Breakaway are followed and evolve as delivery needs change.
      • Innovation on project management approaches, tools and templates
      • Document processes, templates and SOPs and ensure consistent use of those templates and processes across all Peloton projects.
      • Pro-active communication of project portfolio status to internal stakeholders (milestones, tasks, risks, and issues) through the Project Quality Management process
      • Assist project teams with managing and resolving project risks through team guidance and executive level engagement with clients.
      • Team Management
        • Set team structure, cadence and communication across resources playing project management roles.
        • Develop training and certification objectives for the team.
        • Ensure team connectedness and development of team culture.
        • Establishing a resource plan for the practice area. This should include utilization across clients and projects/contracts. This will require active weekly management, planning and coordination with the staffing team and practice leadership.
        • Demand Management
          • Alignment of PMO resources to sales pursuits where required. Share best practices, approach, and prepare/deliver demonstration of program management capabilities.
          • Ensure PMO supports the estimation process, including validation of high-level requirements, timelines, estimates, resources, and solution options leveraging Peloton standard tools and templates to appropriately estimate projects Required Experience & Skills:
            • BA/BS Degree, MBA preferred
            • 10+ years of experience working as a Project / Program Manager managing business process re-engineering or software implementations and 5+ years providing leadership over multiple programs and/or building and running a PMO
            • Experience in full life-cycle project development including requirements, design, development, testing and roll-out
            • Demonstrated experience engaging at the executive level on multi-pillar, global programs
            • Expert-level knowledge of project and change management, methodologies, techniques, processes (e.g., Project and Portfolio Management Methodology - PPM).
            • Budget, cost, and profitability management skills
            • Knowledge of resource management tools
            • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
            • Strong written and verbal communication skills
            • Eagerness to mentor teams
