Job Description:
POSITION SUMMARY: This is an important Director position within
Global Professional Services (GPS) for North America (NA). The
primary purpose of this role is to oversee, manage and continually
improve operational, administrative, and strategic functions and
processes for NA GPS in partnership with the Global Strategy &
Operations (GSO) lead and team. A significant element of the role
includes liaising and collaborating effectively with GSO management
team regarding regional improvements and requirements as well as
implementing and executing new initiatives and procedures.Key
responsibilities include:
- Financial Management, partnering with Financial Planning &
Analysis (FP&A), GSO and GPS leadership on management of best
practices in order processing, timesheet submission and approval,
monthly invoicing process, financial analysis, incentive plans,
internal escalations, management reporting, month end processing,
forecasting & budgeting.
- People Management, partnering with GSO and GPS leadership on
development processes and activities such as onboarding and
training, skills based programs, new services offerings &
processes, and succession planning. Another main component will be
centered around resource management including project scheduling
and staffing and projected backlog scheduling oversight
intersecting with the GPS deal process to ensure proper resourcing,
forecasting, and utilization.
- Systems Rationalization, partnering with GSO and GPS leadership
on internal systems & process improvements, Standard Operating
Procedure (SOP) adherence, and cross departmental communication.The
appealing nature of this role is its wide span of responsibility
along with the level of variety it provides. -RESPONSIBILITIES: -
- Operational, Procedural and Administrative Management &
Reporting
- Work with the Senior Vice President (SVP) of GPS, Vice
President (VP) of NA GPS and the VP of GSO to set objectives for
the upcoming year.
- Report monthly to SVP of GPS, VP of NA GPS and VP of GSO as
directed.
- Ensure good working practices are adopted, and procedural
standards (SOPs) followed.
- Vet new initiatives and business proposals and assess business
cases.
- Monitor headcount and liaise with Practice Leaders to ensure NA
is optimally resourced.
- Work with Education Services, GSO and GPS Leaders to oversee
the regional training & development program.
- Manage and optimize the Statement of Work (SOW) creation
process and queue. Ensure SOWs follow company standards.
- Ensure efficient and effective sales order processing.
- Timesheet, scheduling utilization, and backlog reporting
management.
- Month End processing and reporting.
- Point of escalation for internal issues and challenges.
- Monitor regional Client survey responses and work with GSO, GPS
Leaders & Client Success when necessary.
- Provide operational and clerical support and assistance to the
Practice Leaders as required.
- Manage company special projects as directed.PRE-REQUISITES: -
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Minimum 5 years Services Management experience.Personal and
