Position Summary As SDP continues our exponential growth throughout the Southeastern United states, we are currently seeking a hands-on Regional Director of Operations (RDO) to join the SDP Team in the Florida/Georgia area. The chosen candidate will focus on implementing effective strategies and executing operational tactics in their region with the goal of enhancing practice level performance and growth.Position Responsibilities

  • Provide oversite, strategic guidance, and operational support to practice level managers and administrative staff
  • Maintain regular communication with affiliated doctors and practice staff while visiting each practice within the region on a regular basis
  • Review practice trends and performance objectives with each practice on a regular basis including the monthly operating review (MOR)
  • Develop, review, and implement recommended operational processes, procedures, and other company initiatives in collaboration with the Chief Operating Officer (COO)
  • Advise and train practice managers on operational policies and procedures
  • Manage and approve practice labor hours and ensure proper staffing at the practice level
  • Grow practice revenues, manage variable costs (labor, labs, and supplies) and ensure budgeted EBITDA is achieved
  • Assist in the onboarding and integrations of recently affiliated dental practices, including implementation of company operational procedures and processes
  • Collaborate with each practice within the region to help resolve operational issues Professional Experience/Qualifications
    • 3-5 years of multi-site healthcare operations management experience
      • Dental, Dermatology, Veterinarian, or other healthcare experience highly preferred
      • P&L responsibility and experience with budget management, personnel management, and team building
      • Willingness to spend 80% of your time in the field (traveling between markets and out of state if needed) visiting and supporting affiliated dental practices in designated region
      • Strong active listening skills, ability to implement processes in collaboration with COO to ensure company objectives are met
      • Highly organized and detail-oriented work ethic
      • Ability to work collaboratively with all team members, both at the practice level and Support Center
      • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
      • Demonstrate sense of urgency and work well under pressure
      • Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with the initiative to work independently
      • Strong ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines
      • Ability to effectively manage confidential information
      • Demonstrates integrity, responsibility, accountability, and a high level of professionalism
      • High school diploma required; College graduate preferred
      • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PPT, Outlook)
      • Local to the Greater Atlanta area Compensation Highly competitive compensation consisting of base salary, annual performance bonus and incentive equity.
