Job Description

Druid Hills Golf Club is looking for experienced Director of Repair and Maintenance to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a high performing team in a wonderful working environment. The successful individual will have a service heart and genuinely enjoy interacting with others in a professional manner

Reporting to the General Manager, the Director of Repair and Maintenance oversees all mechanical and grounds areas of the club facility to keep the club functioning at top efficiency. This position is responsible for selecting, training, and managing the Repairs and Maintenance staff. Responsibilities include maintaining a healthy and safe environment for members, guests, and staff at all facilities associated with Druid Hills Golf Club. Ensures all facilities are aesthetically pleasing, fully functional, and in a good state of repair at all times.

Duties and Responsibilities

-Keeps the workshop area safe, clean and well-lighted.
-Ensures that all refuse is properly removed from the club house and its premises
-Responds to emergencies at any time.
-Performs other job-related duties as assigned by the General Manager.
-Hires, trains, and supervises repair/maintenance personnel
-Schedules hours of work for department staff
-Schedules workloads and work orders for all areas of the club and its equipment
-Coordinates with purchasing department to procure parts and items needed for maintenance, completion of work orders, and general department supplies
-Prepares and monitors budgets for the R&M department; takes action as needed
-Attends staff meetings and coordinates efforts to schedule work activities
-Manages the clubs on going preventative maintenance program
-Services and repairs systems for lighting, heating, ventilating, fire, drainage, kitchen equipment, and pumping
-Controls key systems
-Maintains an ongoing energy management program for the property's HVAC and lighting systems
-Assists in checking fire protection systems for proper operation and training personnel in their use
-Coordinates large projects, including making cost estimates, hiring contractors, onsite coordination, and arranging project timelines to minimize disruption of club operations.
-Maintains accurate maintenance and repair records of equipment and machinery
-Maintenance of parking lots, tennis courts, swimming pools and other recreational areas
