IL.SUMMARY:The Director Talent Acquisition is responsible for
developing, implementing and executing highly effective talent
acquisition strategies, systems and processes with measured results
and continuous improvement. This role will take the talent
acquisition function to the next level by enhancing technology
process improvements, optimizing and improving talent acquisition
strategies while leading, coaching and developing a talent
acquisition team. The Director Talent Acquisition will partner with
business leaders and HR colleagues to understand business
priorities, hiring volumes and company goals and
initiatives.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Develop and drive
strategies to create a robust talent pipeline and manage the
multi-channel talent acquisition process.Optimize our "recruiting
machine" and ATS; refine sourcing tactics and lead, coach and
develop the Talent Acquisition Team to ensure candidates
efficiently move through the recruiting cycle to meet the needs of
the business.Manage talent acquisition results in a deadline
driven, high volume and fast paced environment Build solid
relationships and partner with internal stakeholders to understand
business needs to source and deliver top talent.Perform
comprehensive targeted research and develop strategies to identify
candidates and maintain a candidate pipeline.Assist in developing
the employee value proposition that communicates the DHL brand in
all talent acquisition touchpoints.Develop and deliver an excellent
candidate experience to all applicants.Identify and lead continuous
improvement initiatives, including process mapping, gap analysis,
and workflow creation of talent acquisition processes and
procedures.Utilize applicant tracking system and other recruiting
software to measure, track, and report the status and success of
talent acquisition initiatives, including search progress,
candidate pipeline and recruiting channel effectiveness.Work with
key stakeholders to make recommendations and build appropriate
systems, processes and reports. Set KPI's, metrics, and understands
how to prioritize to meet and exceed all business SLAs.Manage
staffing vendors, including contracts, SLAs and staffing order
process to ensure compliance with agreements and staffing
levels.Lead and drive projects and manage programs through
completion and provide project support for various HR
initiatives.Partner successfully with other HR team members to
achieve goals and deliver on accountabilities, driving consistency
across functional areas and locations.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
REQUIRED: Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Talent
Management/Organizational Development or related discipline.8+
years of related work experience.5+ years people management
experience.Proven success in developing an overall Talent
Acquisition Program.Experience managing and prioritizing multiple
sites, projects, and relationships.REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS:Excellent
time management skills such as prioritizing/organizing and tracking
details and meeting deadlines of multiple projects with varying
completion dates.Proven ability to engage and influence all levels
of the organization, and to establish credibility and respect of
employees, peers, managers, and leaders.Experience analyzing data
using various tools for forecasting and
optimization.Cross-functional project management
experience.Basic/Working knowledge of Six Sigma tools and Lean
techniques.Ability to work successfully in a dynamic, fluid
environment.Excellent oral and written communication, customer
service, and interpersonal skills.Ability to maintain
confidentiality and exercise a high level of discretion.Ability to
work effectively under pressure with poise and professionalism.
Experience with applicant tracking systems (preferably Taleo) and
HRIS.Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office products: Word,
Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.PHYSICAL DEMANDS:Physical demands are
mostly consistent with a professional office setting.Regular
sitting at work station for 25 - 75% of the work shift.Up to 25%
