Your role in helping us shape the future:U.S. News empowers everyone to thrive. Reporting to the Autos GM, you will have the opportunity to leverage your strengths and experience to play a leading role in shaping the product roadmap for the next generation of US News Autos. We are very entrepreneurial and looking for a motivated individual to grow the team and help take our business to the next level. Success will be defined by market growth and revenue generation.
Are you up to the challenge?

  • Consumer driven but with a business outcome mindset - think like a GM
  • Understands the digital Auto landscape to identify growth opportunities, ensure products and offerings support market demand, and build toward the future
  • Understands the needs of in-market car shoppers, enthusiasts and how to connect audiences with marketers
  • Knows the display advertising ecosystem and relationship between content, inventory, ad tech, and revenue
  • Publisher experience leading product teams for a medium to large consumer facing website
  • Ability to think strategically while seeing execution to completion
  • Make business decisions that affect stakeholders from product, content, technology, partner teams
  • Ability to deliver, optimize, and grow performance marketing and lead monetization products at scale
  • Capable of modeling different business scenarios, analyze data and developing action steps
    You should definitely have:
    • Bachelor's degree or relevant experience
    • Minimum of 10 years of experience, 5 years in a management role
    • Experience in the digital Automotive space
    • Demonstrated ability in defining and executing product roadmaps
    • Proven track record of product management accomplishments with demonstrated success in product launches and end-to-end execution
    • Familiar with multi-channel digital marketing strategies (SEO, SEM, social, email, content marketing, conversion rate optimization).
    • Experience sourcing and executing strategic partnerships to grow the businesses and drive revenue
    • Understanding of SEO and ensuring it is a key component of the content development process
    • Experience building data-driven products
    • Management experience successfully growing and mentoring a team
    • Track record of building relationships with internal and external partners
    • Roll up your sleeves mindset
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Collaboration is a must
    • Occasional travel required
      It would be nice if you had:
      • Experience running and manage an automotive listings marketplace
      • Experience developing and monetizing Video products
