  • Increasing the number of new customers through cultivation and identification of referrals for individuals seeking targeted services provided by InCommunity.
  • Maximizing revenue through increasing the value of existing customers through exceptional rates due to individual acuity, billing practices, operational efficiencies, and policies.
  • Building external relationships and partnerships with regional DBHDD staff, service coordination agencies and other similar providers to establish service opportunities for InCommunity in our current service area.
    The Business Development Manager works in conjunction with program services leadership to identify capacity and opportunities to increase services and revenues to their departments.
    Other duties may be assigned by CEO and organization.
    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Reports to CEO on a bi-weekly basis as scheduled
    • Responsible for management and oversight of intake.
    • Responsible for management and oversight of Medicaid appeals and submission of any exceptional rates or additions of service to prior authorizations.
    • Customer Cultivation build relationships with current and prospective customers and their families in order to bring in new business.
    • Connecting all functions of Business Development with the internal organization at InCommunity.

          • Cultivating and developing institutional (state and county government) funder relationships.
          • Liaison with Community Relations team as it pertains to marketing and other projects
          • Developing strategic partnerships with other organizations with parallel missions and visions
          • Develop an annual business development plan targeting growth sectors.
          • Implement annual growth plan.

            Language Skills
            Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
            Mathematical SkillsAbility to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

            Computer SkillsTo perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of E-Tapestry Development software; Excel Spreadsheet software and Word Word Processing software.
