Job Description:
The role will lead the transition of Trade Compliance from a
shared service to a 4PL management situation. Coordinate with all
corporate team, MFG and regional DCs to ensure we capture all
services and requirements that need to transition. Lead for Trade
Compliance in our separation project and participate on project
calls. Capture all systems used to support Trade Compliance. Review
process for adding HTS and Licenses globally and ensure processes
are properly. documented, and identify if there are gaps in country
import/export matrix Capture any FTA requirements or other
documents necessary to import/export to specific countries.
Document current training policies for Global Trade Compliance.
Document current products impacted by Tariffs. Capture the bonded
warehouses and understand requirements. Capture audit requirements
currently performed, who does it and plan for future. Capture any
legal cases that have impacted our HTS/Licenses to ensure
transition. Identify gaps in current setup that need to be
addressed moving to 4PL. Capture Duty costs and ensure it's in line
with expectations. Help with RFQ process to ensure requirements
captured and proper vendors participate in RFQ. Manage transition
to the 4PL to ensure execution. Job Requirements:Requirements
Global Trade Compliance experience required. Project management
experience required. Excellent written and oral communication
skills. Experience with trade management software. US customs
