SUMMARY: - -If you are -interested -in a hands-on, continuous
improvement oriented, fast-paced role in a world class
manufacturing environment then our Production Area Manager (BPM)
role is for you. In this role you will own the budget and
performance of a packaging line in our operations department.
Attending production meetings, creating and executing action plans
to meet critical metrics, troubleshooting equipment concerns on the
fly, -developing relationships with technicians, influencing
change, and growing technically and as a leader are all elements of
this great opportunity. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: -
- Develop, monitor, and maintain critical control points to
ensure excellent process and product quality. - -
- Lead process improvement and initiate change. - -
- Supervise production workforce (Operators and Maintenance
Technicians). - -
- Coach workforce through problem solving and monitoring of
operating processes and equipment. - -
- Ensure Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are being followed.
- -
- Utilize VPO tools to achieve critical metric targets and close
gaps in performance (root -cause analysis, GAP analysis, MCRS
meeting schedules and action logs, SDCA cycles, etc.). - JOB
QUALIFICATIONS: -
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or related subject
area. - -
- Leadership skills, comfort level with change, and the ability
to lead change. - -
- Solid interpersonal skills and team orientation. - -
- Technical and problem-solving skills. - -
- Ability to extract, evaluate, and utilize data for process
improvement from applicable systems. - -
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, overtime, weekends, and
holidays. - -
