Job Description:
Our client, a leading family services organization, is seeking
an experienced VP, External Relations for a direct hire opportunity
in Tucker, Georgia. This position is hybrid so candidates must be
local.
The Program Director for Functional Family Therapy (FFT) is
responsible for implementing all aspects of our client's FFT
program in order to create meaningful impact and change in the
lives of those we serve. The Program Director, FFT is responsible
for managing the agencies relationship with our external
accreditation and training partner, ensuring model fidelity,
creating and maintaining a strong client pipeline, and the tracking
of all client data. In addition, the Program Director, FFT will
provide clinical supervision to a team of therapists who are
pursuing their LCSW or LPC. He/She will also provide clinical
supervision to Masters level interns in order to create a pipeline
of talented mental health professionals for the agency and the
region. The Program Director will work closely with the SVP of
Programs and the Chief Strategy and Innovation Officer (CSIO) to
build the department, provide first-in-class mental health
services, and define and measure outcomes with rigor. He/She will
also partner with the CSIO to develop sustainable revenue streams
to ensure long term program stability.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for overall success of the Family Services Functional
Family Therapy Program, including oversight all clinical,
administrative, and managerial aspects of the program.
Work with CSIO to develop a departmental structure that positions
the agency for rapid growth, including new revenue sources and
client referral pipelines.
In year one, the Program Director, FFT will serve as the supervisor
for two teams of 3-4 FFT therapists, providing clinical
supervision, case note review, weekly individual and group
supervision, and overall oversight of the FFT team.
The Program Director will work directly with the model developer to
learn, train, and implement the FFT model with fidelity and ensure
that he/she is prepared to provide ongoing clinical supervision for
the program as it expands.
The Program Director, FFT will consistently monitor program for
model fidelity and desired outcomes.
Assures availability of clinical and administrative support to
staff 24 hours/day, 7 days/week.
Conducts the weekly program implementation and problem-solving
meeting with the supervisors and program consultants.
Approves referrals and discharges.
Maintains stakeholder relationship with referral sources.
Coordinate services within agency and with other community
providers.
Assures appropriate documentation of services in Care4 database, as
well as any other stakeholder databases.
Coordinates all HR related concerns in coordination with the Vice
President, HR. Recruits and hires staff for the program;
coordinates the training and cross-training of staff with the
developers and their purveyor organizations.
Assures program quality efforts to allow for supervisory and
oversight input, and to meet all reporting and communication needs
of funding and referral sources.
Conducts weekly clinical meeting with team to ensure all clinicians
are receiving the support needed and that cases meet contract
expectation. Conducts weekly individual supervision as needed to
target staff competency needs.
Participates in leadership and CQI reporting meetings. Monitors
outcomes related to identifying performance trends, best practices,
and opportunities for improvement.
Reports to agency administration, funding sources and referral
sources as required regarding program outcomes, cost effectiveness,
and overall success.
Provides administrative support targeting systemic barriers to
treatment success or practice.
Provides coaching to new supervisors/staffs.
Partner with the CSIO to gauge progress toward goals with monthly
and annual reporting; set performance objectives and metrics;
monitor and provide periodic progress reports to CEO and senior
leadership.
Perform other duties as may be assigned.
Requirements:
Master's degree in a Social Work or Psychology
Licensed professional in clinical or counseling Psychology, Social
Work, or a related subject area
Preferred Experience:
Minimum of 5 years' leadership experience in one of more of the
following areas: social work, child welfare, mental or behavioral
health
Minimum of 5 years' experience providing individual and group
therapy, preferably with a trauma-informed approach
Supervisory experience and oversight. Supervision of professional
and administrative staff
Program Development including design, financing, staffing, and
evaluation.
Managing day-to-day operation of community-based and social service
program for children, adolescents, and families.
Understanding of mental health disorders or substance abuse
problem
Behavioral therapy; crisis intervention & de-escalation therapy
Service coordination
Program Promotion and Marketing
Experience with program evaluation, data entry and analysis, and
report production. Basic understanding of evidence based preventive
services issues.
Knowledge of evidence-based models and continuous quality
improvement process.
Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills required. Strong written and verbal
communication skills.
Ability to work with a wide variety of stakeholders and manage
multiple deadlines and projects as necessary.
Experience in recruiting, hiring, mentoring and coaching to build a
strong and effective team
Superior leadership and management skills; proven ability to
influence and engage staff, direct and indirect reports, peers and
volunteers
Demonstrated skill and comfort in proactively cultivating,
developing and building strong relationships across all functions
and at all levels
Strong creative problem solving, negotiation and conflict
resolution skills
Computer skills: Microsoft Office - strong proficiency and
experience in working with Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Intermediate level experience in working with and understanding of
Internet applications and programs
