We champion the individual capabilities of our employees and the collective power of the team and extend that commitment to our surrounding families and communities.SUMMARY:Reporting to the Sr. Manager Product & Innovation, the Associate Product Manager is responsible for supporting the management of new product development throughout the product life cycle from strategy to launch. Utilize internal and external sales analytics, market research & insights, competitive analysis, consumer insights, and product direction to make informed decisions to drive new product growth. Must be a team player who's strategic, analytical, and a creative problem solver, with excellent attention to detail and organization abilities.RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support the PM team in conducting analysis of market and competitive landscape, identifying product opportunities within each category. Develop detailed S.W.O.T. analysis to strategically identify & craft opportunities for the business using internal and external sources/ research.
  • Support the execution of product strategy throughout the product life cycle to meet goals & KPI's from concept through pre-launch activities, inclusive of content must have & key features & benefits
  • Support cross-functional new product development ensuring all products are consistently supporting the strategic direction
  • Partner with the Sourcing team on all product development activities and co-lead weekly development team calls to ensure key initiatives continue through development, and work through potential issues to find positive solutions
  • Responsible for supporting product development activities that include but not limited to, owning product development status tracker, new product presentations for internal & external use for cross-functional teams
  • Coordinate with product team on new product development; taking lead on launch activities monitoring sales, recommending product opportunities; new products/ categories, line extensions, and color/ finish extensions.
  • Effectively support brand growth and deliver communication excellence to support defined product lines, new product introductions, market updates, competitive positioning, value propositions etc.
  • Partner with content team to ensure imagery and copy reflect the intended purposes and align with market competitors
  • Regularly monitor consumer product reviews and macro / category trends to improve the consumer experience and generate new, innovative ideas COMPETENCIES:

    • Drive for Results QUALIFICATIONS:
      • 4-7 years previous experience in a comparable position with a consumer products company, preferably e-commerce or furniture marketplaces
      • Product Passion-must love product! Love developing new product.
      • Advanced skill set in sales analytics, creation of graphs/ charts/ pivot tables
      • Customer Empathy-Must be able to empathize with the customer
      • Quick Learner-Strong Creative Problem-Solving Skills
      • Product pricing experience and working with product development teams
      • Strong Work Ethic-Integrity &Confidence
      • Business Acumen-keenness and quickness in understanding and dealing with a business issue.
      • Analytical, and creative problem solver, with excellent attention to detail and organization abilities.
      • Superior written and verbal communication skills.
      • Presentation skills.
      • Knowledge of the Industry-Previous housewares industry experience is a plus.
      • Superior PC skills with advanced capabilities in Microsoft programs (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
