Location: REMOTE Salary: negotiable Description: Our client, a specialty top food manufacturer with an excellent portfolio right on trend in plant based entrees and items/vegan/organic/healthy eating choices, is currently seeking a Regional Territory Manager, NJ/NY (based anywhere in the territory) calling on regional grocery, mass/club, independents etc. - This is a newly added position due to highly innovative new products added into the portfolio! - Excellent compensation and benefits package!The Regional Territory Manager will work closely with their Key Account Teams in executing the go to market strategies developed for their national and regional retailers as outlined within each market. In addition, they have the call responsibilities for key local retailers. Through the compression selling process, effectively communicates and collaborates with others to maximize "Plan of Action" effectiveness, focuses on the most critical tasks to ensure progress down to store level. Through proactive broker management sets goals, strategies, and measures and proactively trains and motivates our brokers to take the initiative, solve problems and drive sales.Responsibilities: ---- Drive Execution proactively identifies potential problems and develops plans to overcome, links account activity to retail execution to drive in-store results ---- Effectively communicates and collaborates with others to maximize POA effectiveness ---- Develop and Manage Sales and Broker Teams sets Smart goals and objectives with the field level sales and broker teams in a timely manner ensures the team makes the link between development plan, coaching plan, and performance management ---- Focuses on increasing engagement and motivation among the team, through a suite of development, learning and management techniques ---- Collaboration and Relationship Management encourages open dialog within and across teams to drive alignment and understanding of capabilities issues in opportunities. ---- Provides a clear purpose and direction recognizes people in teams for their contribution through feedback and coaching ---- Strategic Selling takes a consultative insight-based approach to selling effectively balancing customer and PMO interest to drive mutually beneficial outcomes ---- Engenders trust and confidence while developing strong relationships across all levels both internally and externally --- Portfolio and Category Management possesses significant knowledge of the different brands and products under the Plant-forward and Asian Inspired categories ---- Manages and analyzes the health of the portfolio by using a data driven approach to evaluate and prioritize new product launches ---- Business and Financial Acumen understands financial strategic levers to balance short term commitments and long-term growth. ---- Develop and operate within budgets anticipate needs and adjustments to achieve priorities ---- Results sets challenging goals and demonstrates resilience achieving them taking accountability for delivering on personal and shared commitments ---- Leads the team in pursuing market-leading solutions; that the customer request, over delivering on their request and present opportunities they were not expecting ---- Domestic travel: up to 70% - ---- This position will work closely and collaborate with assigned team members and cross functional roles on a regular basis to include field sales, demand planning, supply chain management, sales operations, trade marketing, product development and finance. -EXPERIENCE --- Good understanding of Customer Management & Selling Process --- Proven analytical skills --- Project Management skills --- Strong knowledge of Syndicated Data (SPINS, Nielsen/IRI, Panel Data, etc.) --- Strong oral, written communication, and presentation skills --- Computer proficient (Microsoft Office, Nielsen/IRI) --- Good interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills --- A "self-starter" who is self-motivated and self-directed --- Accountability - takes responsibility for actions --- Able to influence & lead non-direct reports in a fast-paced team setting with an entrepreneurial mindset --- Strong presentation skills - able to travel when necessary to train broker teams, present to retailers, and influence key decision makers ---- 4-year college degree (BA/BS), in Business Administration or closely related field ---- 10-years of experience in Sales / Trade Promotion Management - preferably in a CPG companyPlease send qualified resume to: - - Join this highly successful team with strong career opportunity! - -
