To get the best candidate experience, please consider applying for a maximum of 3 roles within 12 months to ensure you are not duplicating efforts.Job CategoryMulesoft - Customer Success GroupJob DetailsMuleSoft's Customer Success Strategy and Architecture (CSSA) team is looking for a motivated Strategic Advisor with strong technical background to lead our most critical customers on a hybrid (on-premise / Cloud) evolution journey to execute their integration strategies by using MuleSoft's Anypoint platform.As a MuleSoft Strategic Advisor in the post-sales capacity, you will have laser focus on customer adoption to ensure MuleSoft plays a significant role as true partner to our customers. You will use your deep technical background and consulting ability to influence and strategically partner with our top customers. You will be the account team's technology leader with vision who helps client partners in crafting their integration journey, solution approaches, and organization governance to become more agile, flexible and innovative across all of their operating units. You will help advance integration maturity by providing tailored mentorship around common enterprise patterns and other standard methodologies.You will also be working with internal teams from a diverse but very technical background, innovating and chipping in to the advancement of our Intellectual Properties in how we drive accelerated integration programs, established customer organization and groundbreaking processes.This specific position will include engagements with customers as you deliver evangelism focused activities, thus this role requires online and onsite meetings to build trust and may require traveling several times per month (once travel returns to normal and with flexibility depending on individual and group needs).What you'll achieve:0-3 months:

  • Master the Anypoint family of on-premise and cloud products and quickly establish your reputation within the organization
  • Become familiar with industry specific protocols in relation to MuleSoft offerings
  • Review our existing industry go-to-market strategy along with product roadmap and identify patterns that have promoted a successful enterprise connectivity model in existing customers
  • Shadow and customer-scenario role playing
  • Get certified on MuleSoft Platform
  • Begin engaging with your customers, understand their current and future projects, and learn the business challenges and opportunities facing your accounts3-6 months:
    • Work directly with MuleSoft's top customers, evangelize Anypoint Platform capabilities and API-led approach
    • Understand where MuleSoft may not be a good fit where other technologies could align with their objectives
    • Work with the customer's architectural governance team to define recommended standard methodologies using MuleSoft as part of their overall platform strategy
    • Supply to an enablement plan for customer and tailor that plan for each diverse group to best set them up for success6-12 months (and on-going):
      • Ensure renewal successes and partake in driving expansion opportunities through meticulous product adoption
      • Establish partner relationships and working Center For Enablement groups by helping customers publish standard methodologies and integration templates across their landscape
      • Establish working relationships with project teams and embed in each team's architectural and design processes
      • Build industry library by detailing concrete examples of API reuse within and across different business groups
      • Present MuleSoft's approach and success stories within customers following our API-led, C4E, and OBD methodologies
      • Ensure all partners working with the customer are educated and aligned to MuleSoft's approachWhat you'll need to be successful:Required qualifications:
        • Consulting experience working directly with large scale legacy modernization customers (5-10 years)
        • A broad perspective on API and integration patterns, use cases, technologies, and trends
        • Experience and knowledge in middleware, integration architecture patterns, web services technologies, enterprise messaging patterns, REST, SOAP, SOA, ESB, BPM
        • Strong comfort in driving conversations with Enterprise Architects, CTOs/CIOs, and Business Stakeholders in a Trusted Advisor capacity armed with broad technology and architectural standard methodologies.
        • Ability to build deep relationships with decision makers within customer accounts and enable them to become MuleSoft advocates and champions
        • Past experiences leading enterprise wide initiatives, with an understanding of the challenges accomplishing widespread organizational change and the hindsight to address them
        • Ability to advise and mentor complementary teams using influence and adaptive communication strategies
        • Ability to evaluate architecture and infrastructure to uncover technical needs. Based on these discoveries, make recommendations for improvement with different lines of business while making use of the MuleSoft platform and supporting architecture
        • A strong willingness to dive into new situations, learn about new technologies quickly, and debate different approaches and points of view in a constructive manner
        • Comfortable multitasking across parallel work streams, balancing different roles and priorities in each
        • Excellent verbal communication, written communication, and presentation skillsPreferred qualifications:
          • Understanding of HealthCare & Life Science industry protocols (HIPAA, HL7, CPT, OCR compliance, CCD, CCR, CDISC). Know-how in the pharmacovigilance, interoperability and/or Healthcare Payer/Provider domain is a plus
          • Understanding of Federal architecture, security guidelines and regulations (FIPS 140-2, FedRAMP, FISMA, DODAF, ATO process, etc.) is a plus
          • Experience working in an industry with regulatory compliance, data residency and/or GxP compliance requirements
          • Experience and/or certification in cloud technologies - iPaaS, SaaS applications, cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP)
          • Proven thought leadership through publications, public speaking and others
