What You'll DoAre you passionate about healthcare communications, building client relations and leading teams to success? This role is a great opportunity to increase visibility of our core promotional capabilities and to demonstrate the strategic value we bring to our commercial clients. As our Account Director, you will be leading your team in the execution of complex and fast-paced promotional projects, supporting business development and improving the team's alignment with our company goals. You will also be responsible for retaining talent and mentoring the Peer-to-Peer team.A Day in the LifeProactively manage relationships with assigned clients and seek opportunities to strengthen/build new relationships with the extended client teamDevelop and manage client budgets, ensuring accurate project reconciliationsServe as point of authority and/or source of advice for therapeutic area and promotional strategy of assigned account(s)Maintain communication with internal teams of changes and feedback from clientOversee the development of proposals and tactical plansProvide strong account leadership - effectively directing team members to accomplish desired goalsStaff, manage, and lead the assigned account teamOther duties may be assigned to help drive deliverables within this roleWhat You HaveBachelor's Degree6+ years of client services experience4+ years team management experienceTrack record of being a self-starter, problem solver, and creative strategistAbility to travel up to 30% of the timeWhat You Might Have, but isn't required3+ years of oncology/hematology experience4+ years of experience as a leader in medical communications or digital agencyThe Team You'll Work Closest WithYou will collaborate with and lead the junior account team in maintaining positive and ongoing client relations over our Peer-to-peer accounts. You will be participating in various management discussions with upper-level management on a consistent basis.
