  • Lead the business requirements, data requirements, data analysis, and testing for data strategy, data roadmap, and data solution implementation projects
  • Analyze end-to-end data flows and conduct hands-on management analysis
  • Document finance data flows, architecture, and solutions in collaboration with the project team, subject matter specialists, and the client
  • Support FP&A-related functional assessments to provide point-of-view and recommendations
  • Manage project deadlines, risks, and issues in completing deliverables to achieve overall project timelinesPreferred Knowledge/Skills:
    • Relevant experience in cost accounting methods including, activity-based costing, unit costing, standard costing methods with variances and residual analysis
    • Proven experience cost study design and oversight, including the use and maintenance of standard cost frameworks for the integration of cost studies with existing model methodologies
    • Proven experience in a Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) setting in Insurance industry
    • Understanding of insurance products, cash flow patterns, expenses and KPI's.
    • Knowledge of insurance financial reporting including US GAAP, US Stat, IFRS, Embedded Value and upcoming changes including LDTI and IFRS17.
    • Demonstrated ability to run and update cost modeling systems (data, hierarchy, rules, etc.) supporting Standard and Forecast unit costs, variance reporting, cost maintenance, operational metrics and scorecards
    • Demonstrated abilities and/or a proven record of success in the following areas:
      • Understanding of the functionality of financial systems, such as Oracle (EPM Suite - PCMCS/EBPCS), SAP (PaPM), Workday (Adaptive Insights / Prism), Anaplan, OneStream, Tagetik, SAS ABM, MyABCM
      • Understanding common issues facing clients in their industry from a performance measurement perspective
      • Leveraging business intelligence tools (PowerBI, Tableau, Qlik) to support the reporting and monitoring of performance metrics
      • Leveraging digital tools to manage data such as Alteryx, UI Path, Blue Prism among others
