Our Client, a Global Financial Services Firm, is seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Internal Audit Leader with strong AML (Anti-Money Laundering) knowledge and experience to join their growing team as a Vice President in--Atlanta, GA.Position:The Vice President of Internal Audit will be responsible for leading and performing Audit, Risk, Assurance and Advisory activities including full-cycle planning and execution as well as strategic contributions across multiple business areas including risk management, investment and asset management, operations, finance, and compliance.Responsibilities:* Manage and lead the execution of global and regional AML (Anti-Money Laundering) Audits from planning to execution, scoping, testing, reporting and assessing risks.* Assist in the formation of the annual audit plan through direct input, insight and perspective around current business, industry and regulatory risk factors.* Identify and assess current and emerging risks, themes and trends for the business.* Leverage industry knowledge and experience to provide advisory services during the development of new businesses and systems.* Areas of focus will include auditing of key processes and controls spanning critical areas including but not limited to:--Investment Management, Sales & Marketing; Client Onboarding, Risk Management, and Corporate Operations.* Build and maintain collaborative relationships with all risk and control functions as well as members of the business.* Manage and coach Audit Staff on projects and provide feedback for increased performance and learning.* Perform investigations, special reviews and other ad hoc technical and operational projects as needed.Skills and Experience:* 8-15 years of Internal Audit experience with a primary focus in financial services.* Bachelors Degree with a concentration in finance, economics, accounting, or business management.* Strong knowledge of US AML regulatory requirements and extensive experience auditing AML programs.* Understanding on Investments, asset management products, business processes and risk and controls systems highly preferred.* Interest in investment and risk management, scenario analysis and problem solving.* Strong project management, quantitative, organizational and presentation skills.* Excellent Communication Skills. (verbal, written and interpersonal)* Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.* Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with peers and business partners.* Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), or relevant certification highly preferred.* Other Professional certifications such as CFA or CPA (or equivalent) are a plus-- All candidates must be authorized to work in the USA.-- No Sponsorship Available.
