Our talented teams provide guidance over strategic planning, operations, revenue management, communications, marketing, finance, human resources, and information technology.Responsible for the strategic alignment between the Information Technology Department and all Loews Hotels Business Disciplines, to position the company to achieve its strategies and goals through technology innovations and system implementationsGeneral Oversight of all Application Systems in the areas to insure efficient performance, support, upgrades and assist the business unit maximize operational use of system features. Detailed oversight of all assigned applications including partnering with business leadership to provide strategic solutions to business opportunities. Performing vendor evaluations to meet business needs. Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Project Planning and System Implementation - Assist with the definition of the projects business case (cost/benefits analysis) in conjunction with the BU Sponsor. Responsible for eliciting of all IT requirements and finalizing the IT analysis and requirements definition. Responsible for the organization, budget, planning, monitoring and resource management of the IT project components through its implementation
  • Assist with management of application upgrade and installations for all new acquisitions and new construction projects
    • Meet on a regular basis with the business units to review project status, prioritization, schedules and define additional needs
      • Responsible for resource oversight, guidance and management to include annual evaluations, performance and career development
        • Project Organization & Management to effectively provide enhanced IT Services and ensure the operational effectiveness and excellence of the business unit
          • Maintain & Manage Vendor and 3rd Party Business partners through regular communications and understanding of the vendor roadmap
            • Assist in the creation and upkeep of the IT / Business Units 3 year Road Map/Plan and Capital Budget for all Disciplines
              • May be required to work varying schedules to reflect business needs Supportive Functions and Responsibilities
                • Ability to produce Project Analytics and reporting through project process definition & design phases
                  • Strong knowledge of Technology in conjunction with the operation of business software applications. Excellent knowledge of servers, databases, and client side technology
                    • Manage and Control Project Budgets to ensure effective budgeting, oversee invoices and cost controls are implemented
                      • Departmental Administrative Duties - Manage and oversee invoices, vendors, contracts and maintain cost controls
                        • Other duties as assignedQualificationsThe individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation:Required:
                          • Broad knowledge of Hotel Application Systems including Opera, Delphi, Ideas
                          • Broad Knowledge of Hospitality Business Unit Functions & Responsibilities
                          • Ability to integrate/meet Business Unit Goals & Objectives through technology
                          • Must have strong written and verbal communication skillsPreferred:
                            • Experience in QA processes and Methods
                            • Experience in Departmental Administrative and Budgeting processesEducation: 4 Year College Degree or equivalent experience.Experience: 6 - 8 Years directly related work and project management experience. Ability to multi-task with several complex and demanding concurrent projects. Proven ability to Lead Team Members across various projects. Strong Business acumen and communication skills.
