The Director of Strategy and Operations will work closely--across the practice group--with--the Partner-in-Charge.--This highly visible role requires collaboration with firm leadership to develop Advisory Services opportunities and customer relationships across other practice groups.--From day one, the Director of Strategy and Operations--will have an immediate impact on our productivity, streamlining strategic initiatives, overseeing program management,--financial and operational activities,--and communicating objectives between--practices within Advisory Services. Position responsibilities: Project Management & Process Improvement

  • Improve and streamline current processes--and coordinate organizational procedures for optimized efficiency and productivity--
  • Integrate and connect work streams and--oversee large, often cross-functional organization-wide projects or initiatives--
  • Create partner and board meeting materials for the--Partner-in Charge-- -- Strategy & Communications
    • Define and research new ideas,--business opportunities, and operational strategies--and assist Partner-in Charge to identify metrics for success --
    • Provide decision support through data gathering, information analyzing, and presenting considerations to relevant stakeholders--
    • Design--and execute--the Advisory Services--communication strategy --
    • Draft--speeches, presentations, reports, and pitch decks for the--Partner-in Charge, and vet speaking opportunities and interview requests-- Culture & Human Capital Management
      • Review, design, and execute on improvements to organizational structure, find knowledge and skills gaps and help address them
      • Draft job descriptions, outline the interview process, screen candidates, and assist the HR department with new hires
        • Oversee diversity & inclusion priorities and manage culture initiatives Meeting & Event Management
          • Manage the Advisory Services all hands and leadership meetings
          • Plan and lead--Advisory Services--offsite meetings and--other special events--
          • Review--weekly meetings to ensure the--Partner-in Charge--has all of the necessary information and send out agendas or documents to meeting attendees--
          • Run the annual budget cycle process
          • Run--monthly practice--review--cadences with the individual practice leaders--
          • Create--and update--monthly dashboards to track changes in key metrics-- Relationship & Workflow Management
            • Manage--critical relationships on behalf of the-- Partner-in Charge --and act as the liaison between staff, executives, senior leaders, and--Partner-in Charge
            • Assess all inquiries directed to the-- Partner-in Charge --and determine--the proper course of action -- Qualifications Qualifications Needed:
              • 7+ years in a business or executive management role
              • Proven experience organizing and directing multiple teams and departments
              • Experience planning and leading strategic initiatives--
              • Experience with data analysis--and automation--
              • Experience with budget management--
              • Consulting experience with a focus on operations management
              • Strong project reporting skills, with a focus on interdepartmental communication--
