Our enterprise-class suite of financial and asset management software products are used by hundreds of companies throughout the US and around the world. Building on our past successes and industry-leading position, we are investing in the redesign and redevelopment of our products using the latest design approaches and software technologies. As a critical member of our growing team, you will be well positioned to make a real impact and help to shape the future of our products. The Fixed Asset Product Director is a key member of the Product Management leadership team and the driving force behind PowerPlan's strategy and execution for our accounting products. Responsibilities include owning the vision and multi-year roadmap, discovering and validating market dynamics to drive strategy, leading a Fixed Asset cross-departmental leadership team, and providing leadership mentoring and coaching to direct reports. We are looking for a roll-up-the-sleeves leader with a customer focus, accounting background, and a track record of working across stakeholders to deliver against commitments. This person must be highly collaborative, be able to earn the trust of their peers and internal customers and be able to successfully manage ambiguity and frequently changing priorities. Responsibilities
    • Be the CEO for Fixed Asset Solutions: Successes and failures of the product will be the responsibility of this role and a high degree of professionalism and accountability is required. You will be tasked with building and leading a cross-departmental team focused on the accounting business, working with Product Management, Marketing, Sales, Partners and Alliances, Customer Success, Professional Services and Support. This requires the ability to influence without direct authority and bring together diverse stakeholders to solve difficult and challenging problems, analyze market data and internal metrics, and ultimately present to the executive leadership the strategy, direction, and performance of the accounting solutions on an ongoing basis.
    • Establish and Communicate Fixed Asset Strategy: We need an individual that will use knowledge of the market and industry trends, product management best practices, and strategic planning, to establish a distinctive product vision and multi-year solution roadmap for the accounting products with the intent to deliver business value and improve customer satisfaction. This requires leadership, product, sales, and marketing skills to put together a complete business plan that enables your products to succeed. At times you will be required to analyze buy, build and partnering options, making recommendations to executive leadership. Equally important is ability to communicate and advocate for the product roadmaps to internal leadership and stakeholders.
    • Earn the Trust of Customers and Experts: To be successful, you will need to understand the PowerPlan accounting software functionality and understand the needs of the market and the business value for our customers that the solution produces. In addition, you will need to show a high aptitude for understanding complex problems, collaborating and conversing with industry experts, building and maintaining key customer relationships and distilling the noise around varying market problems into discrete actionable solutions. Partnering with Product Marketing to develop thought leadership content and evangelizing the Fixed Asset solution both internally and externally.
    • Drive Product Launches: Manage entire product life cycle from concept through strategic planning to tactical investments within product development and other areas. Work closely with Product Manager, Product Owners, Product Designers and Engineering to drive the prioritization and execution of product roadmap. Ownership over successful execution of product launches, starting with detailed launch plans, controlling release scope, and timely and consistent communication regarding changes and current status.
    • Team Engagement & Leadership : Create a healthy team culture of happy and productive employees who understand the vision and strategy and are empowered to drive innovation and make decisions necessary to execute and meet clearly defined and communicated goals. Enable consistent measurement and transparent visibility of results and pivot as necessary. Guide others in execution and professional development and for attracting, retaining and developing top talent. Qualifications Recommended
