Come join WWT today We are looking for a Diversity Business Development Manager to join our Global Service Provider team.What will you be doing?The Business Development Manager will be focused on Security with our Global Service Provider Strategic Solutions & Services team. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving our specialty solutions & services focused on cybersecurity across WWT's Global Service Provider customers. You will partner effectively with the core and cross functional teams within WWT to formulate and drive an all-encompassing strategy from an idea to a business outcome for our customers. Also, as a Business Development Manager, you will be expected to strategically drive WWTs end-to-end vision for our customer(s), as well as maintain an in-depth understanding of competitive conditions, industry practices, market opportunities, and customer requirements. In this role, you will be responsible for understanding the solutions & services around the focus area of cybersecurity, all the while, having a financial and business acumen to drive proposals that grow our revenue base/profitability.Responsibilities:Positioning security solutions to large Global Service ProvidersFocus on profitable revenue generation in cybersecurity products and servicesExpanding WWTs presence by driving relevance to customer's key business objectivesLead the selling strategy, creating short and long-term plans based on research and a deep understanding of business and technology trendProfessional networking to build relationships with C-level executives, Executive Directors, Managing Directors and decision-making managers at targeted clients.Building and maintaining technical and 'decision maker' relationships at Customer and Partners (OEMs)Creating Value for clients from Idea to OutcomeDriving WWT core team enablement and education in our cybersecurity solution offeringAbility to effectively profile target accountsWorking with an inside sales team in coordinating sales activities (targeted campaigns, order processing, marketing events, etc.).Continuing education on evolving security landscape40-50% TravelCompetencies:Strategic Business Planning: Demonstrating knowledge of WWT and the industry; developing strategies that leverage opportunity growth and creation with cross functional team.Consulting & Partnering: Helping external clients and partners (OEMs) to understand their business needs, offering advice and solutions, and operating from a position of expertise balanced with a collaborative approach.CXO Relevancy: Adding value by proactively identifying business opportunities for the customer/partner (OEM), conveying a firm understanding of the customer's business and political drivers, displaying executive presence by building rapport and credibility; effectively influencing other people to accept a solution; clearly connecting solutions to business needs.Critical Thinking: Identifying and understanding issues, problems, and opportunities; comparing data from different sources to address sales challenges and new opportunities; taking courses of action based on sound analysis and judgment that appropriately consider customer and partner (OEMs) business capabilities and issues, available facts, constraints, competitive circumstances and probable consequences.Building Influential Relationships: Working collaboratively with customers, partners (OEMs), and cross functional team members to meet business goals and objectives; using appropriate communication methods to influence others and establish relationships.Business and Financial Acumen: Understanding basic business financial strategies, performance indicators, and applying that knowledge to client's economic and buying environmentQualifications:Candidates must have a successful track record of selling to Fortune 500 clients.Strong Security technical acumen will be required.Understanding the technical challenges and demands of Security solutions and products.Ideal experience includes consultative solution selling.Experience with leading OEM's such as Cisco Security, F5 Networks, Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet and Tanium along with awareness of innovative start-up's Strong skills in developing new relationships with customers and the ability to recommend and position technical solutions to solve customer business challenges.Critical skills necessary are account planning with an extended team, calling at all levels within the customer's organization, and managing partner relationships.Outstanding communication and organizational skills required.Bachelor's Degree or equivalent industry experience preferred.Want to learn more about Global Enterprise Sales?
