Position Overview: The Wellness Program and Communication Manager is responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of the overall corporate wellness programs as well as the overall communication strategy and execution for the US Benefits team. This position will build on the current benefits programs to facilitate the corporate goal of growing a Culture of Wellness throughout the organization. The Wellness Program and Communications Manager will ensure the Wellness Program is compliant with the Affordable Care Act, Americans with Disability Act and all other rules and regulations as it relates to wellness. Additionally, this position will be responsible for communicating effectively with the organization on all US benefits matters, Annual Enrollment and keeping the websites and call centers up to date and informed. Principal Responsibilities: Research employee wellness plans to identify potential partners. Effectively manage all wellness vendor relationships. Recommend and implement changes to the benefit programs to ensure alignment with Corporate wellness program. Design, recommend, implement and administer wellness program components. Develop network of wellness champions across the organization to build and promote wellness challenges and a culture of health and Organize annual calendar of events to ensure all activities, programs and challenges are implemented in a consistent and timely manner. Create and develop all communications material for the benefits department. Manage the internal websites and the Total Rewards Site. Ensure all benefit and wellness programs are effectively communicated to the organization. Education, Experience, Qualifications & Skills (Required and Preferred): Requires a BA/BS degree in related field or equivalent in education/work experience. Minimum of 5 years of wellness and communications/marketing experience with a focus on employee health promotion. Demonstrated project management skills; able to present, develop and guide projects. Experience building and implementing a comprehensive wellness strategy from scratch. Experience with self-funded plans, ERISA compliance requirements and the full-spectrum of benefits. General knowledge of wellness programs and developments in the fast changing wellness environment. Proficient using Google mail, calendaring and shared drives Key Competencies (see World League Publication if applicable): Passion for wellness and health promotion. Ability to multi-task and motivate and inspire others. Strong organizational and follow-up skills and ability to work in a team environment. Professional with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Have excellent interpersonal, cross-cultural communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees, as well as outside contacts. Disciplined self-starter with can-do attitude; proactive, resourceful, collaborative team player; detail-oriented and strong follow-through skills. Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and ambiguity. Decision Making Authority What is the nature of the direct supervision that is provided to the incumbent of this position? The incumbent must have the ability to exercise good judgment and make decisions but know when to seek collaboration or escalation.
