Primary Location: 3003 Summit Blvd, Atlanta, GA, USA Division: Cox Automotive Job Level: Manager/Senior Manager Travel: Yes, 25 % of the Time Schedule: Full-time Shift: Day Job Requisition Number: 205685 The Senior Deal Automation Manager is responsible for supporting the Deal Management team s efforts to guide Cox Automotive in becoming more sophisticated and technologically advanced in the realm of deal enablement. More specifically, you will support the business in the design, development and rollout of a Cox Automotive-wide technology strategy to manage all quote to order aspects, both high and low complexity, to improve the customer (buyer/seller) selling experience ultimately driving bottom line growth for CAI. The applications will serve as the system of records for all quote to order transactions across the enterprise, as well as facilitate incentive and cross selling strategies, deal evaluation and approvals, and related contracting and fulfillment activities. You will also play a key role in ensuring Cox Automotive continues to employ best in class technology and processes in the future to support all deals effectively. Ultimately, success in the role is defined through quantifiable benefits and efficiencies gained through the deal transformation strategies.

Job Responsibilities

Deal Management


Strong leadership capabilities to guide the Sales, Operations, and Technology teams to drive efficient and profitable execution of deals through business process improvement and design of advanced technology strategies improving the customer experience (buyer/seller)
Partner with stakeholders to define product, pricing, promotion, and deal evaluation strategies and incorporate into the deal automation processes and technologies
Incorporate advanced technology strategies to support complex and customized deal structures, including pricing, legal terms and conditions, implementation, and fulfillment
Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Technology teams to ensure applications roll out to established timelines and adoption targets
Develop tools to monitor and socialize deal automation performance, identifying areas for improvement, risk, and growth
Partner with Sales, Technology, and Finance to clearly define KPIs, develop success criteria, and evaluate performance to support existing and prioritize future deal automation technology development.


Relationship Management


Support Director to successfully gain strategic alignment across stakeholders on technology roadmap and delivery priorities
Partner with Sales Leaders and Market Readiness to ensure communication, training and change management strategies are in place
Build and Maintain peer relationships and internal network of connections across the business to facilitate effective knowledge sharing and avoid duplication of effort
Qualifications:
7+ years of business, operations, consulting and / or technology experience
3+ years of Salesforce Platform experience
Salesforce Certified Admin, Salesforce Certified CPQ Specialist or Admin preferred
Bachelor s degree in business, analytics, information technology or related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience. M aster s Degree in business, analytics, information technology or related is preferred
Proven track record in operating in a support capacity in a high functioning sales and/or operations environment
Proven track record in impact and effectiveness on large scale enterprise wide information technology business transformation programs
Working knowledge of lead-to-cash processes and platforms
Technical Skills: Outstanding analytical skills and a high degree of intellectual curiosity who can help connect dots
Project Methodologies: Thorough understanding of program management techniques and methods
Build Relationships: Establish and maintain positive working relationships with others, both internally and externally
Communicate Effectively: Good listener with outstanding interpersonal qualities and a natural, effective consultative style who can present their views in a clear and compelling manner
Creativity/Innovation: Develop new and unique ways to improve operations of the organization and to create new opportunities.
Focus on Client Needs: Anticipate, understand, and respond to the needs of internal and external clients to exceed expectations
Collaboration: Work cooperatively and effectively with others to set goals, resolve problems, and make decisions
Solve Problems: Assess situations to identify causes, generate solutions, and make recommendations to resolve the problem
Systems: Fluent in Microsoft Office particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint and Advanced excel skills required
Influence: Ability to operate and work across functional groups in a matrixed organization and influence change
Work Ethic: Must be willing and able to roll up the sleeves
Requires physical ability and mental acuity to execute the duties of the position successfully within required timeframes in order to meet business requirements.
