Job Description Job Description Maintenance - Facilities Maintenance Technician - Facilities Position Overview The Maintenance Technician - Facilities is responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of all facility equipment and systems. This role involves proactive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of machinery, as well as ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards. Key Responsibilities Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on facility machinery and systems. Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, and mechanical issues as they arise. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory of parts and supplies. Assist in the installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment. Ensure all work is performed in compliance with health and safety regulations. Collaborate with other departments to improve facility operations and efficiency. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in maintenance or a related field is preferred. Proven experience as a maintenance technician, preferably in a facilities environment. Strong knowledge of PLC systems and machinery operation. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
