ScopeSupervises employees who maintain, repair and service all
vehicles and equipment. Assigns vehicles to authorized personnel
and maintains records of use, mileage, maintenance, repairs and
service.
Coordinates the day-to-day operations of a groups of Technicians
assigning, monitoring and reviewing progress and accuracy of work,
directing efforts and providing technical guidance on more complex
issues. Inspects and reviews the results of maintenance and repair
works, monitors repairs and performs vehicle audits to ensure
technicians adhere to safety, regulatory and appearance standards.
Review any equipment failures and replacements to identify trends
and monitor key expense induces. Major Responsibilities
engine, emission systems, transmission, brake, hydraulic and
electrical systems to perform advanced preventive and repair
maintenance functions on vehicles and equipment, on site and on the
road, including: engine chassis repair and maintenance; knowledge
of vehicle body control systems, including hydraulics and
electrical systems to maintain and repair vehicles in a timely and
safe manner; knowledge of heating and air conditioning systems to
effectively diagnose and repair
complex heating and cooling systems in vehicles in a timely and
safe manner.
