Job Description:
Description:Our client is currently seeking a Manufacturing
Engineer for their manufacturing facility near Asheville, NC.This
job will have the following responsibilities:Manage new process
developmentManaging capital equipment projectsEstablishing and
documenting manufacturing proceduresResolving component design
deficiencies as related to component assemblySuggest design changes
to reduce costs and improve manufacturing efficiencyEstimate
process ratesArrive at cost effective solutions by using
implementing 6s conceptsQualifications & Requirements:Bachelor's
degree in mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering from an
accredited college or UniversityGreen Belt certification in 6s
preferred3+ years experience within fiber optics
manufacturingStrong FMEA process familiarityExperience with EFG and
IPC measurements and documentationExperience within over-molding
techniques desired, but not required
