available at?. SUMMARY This sales engineer position requires solid
sales skills combined with engineering expertise to generate new
and repeat customers in our rapidly growing Vacuum Jacketed Piping
Systems (VJP) business. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage existing account relationships to position Acme for
future growth opportunities.
- Handle incoming leads and requests for bid for VJP and convert
them to sales.
- Review blueprints, drawings, P&IDs and other customer
provided documents and specifications in order to design and
engineer a custom VJP system to meet their requirements. This will
typically require site visit.
- Confirm approved drawings are converted to shop drawings for
each section of pipe assembly.
- Once order is received, act as Project Manager in scheduling
the coordination of various steps in servicing the customer and
their projects including at times completing a hands-on site survey
for detailed measuring of pipe routing.
- Work with various departments internally as needed (i.e.
production, valving, shipping, quality control, etc.) in order to
successfully execute the project once it is won.
- Complete, maintain, process, and file all pertinent paperwork
and records including Call Reports, CRM entries and other reports
as required by management.
- Willingness to travel (auto or plane) to 25% of the time.
- Must be able to function as part of a broader commercial team.

REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelors degree in Engineering or a technical field
(preferably BSME)
- Five years industrial experience (or related experience
designing and laying out piping systems)
- Experience with VJP or knowledge of the cryogenics industry a
plus
- 3-5 years industrial sales experience a plus
- Spatial intelligence to conceptualize 3-D pipe routings into
isometric drawings
- Good verbal and written communication
- Self-motivated and competitive, with a strong desire to
succeed
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 25% of the timeWork
