Our R&D team is working on a robust energy conversion system and we are growing fast.We are seeking a Test Engineer to work directly with the research & development group and help develop a consistent, reliable, and efficient test environment for our power electronics product suite. We are looking for an innovator who will be responsible for the test planning, test execution, test automation, and test reporting processes, as well as support testing for product certification and during product manufacturing.Why join us?-401(k) with company matchExcellent medical, dental, and vision coverage (PPO and HSA plan)Flexible hoursUnlimited PTOSick payPaid holidaysPotential for bonus+More!Job Details-BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent (required); MS a plusStrong knowledge of power electronics systems working principles, including AC/DC, DC/AC, DC/DC, AC/AC conversion and grid-connected converters2+ years of relevant experience testing power electronics equipment, including test cell development, automation, and implementation, and conducting testsExperience with high power converter testing (> 10kW, 1000Vdc, 600Vac)Experience working with medium voltage levels and MV test cells (20kVAC)Prior experience with EMI and FCC testing will be valuedProficient in the use of oscilloscopes, power analyzers, programmable power supplies, active loads, variacs, and other equipment used for power electronics testingFamiliar with PV, Energy Storage Systems, DC fast charging equipment, and generators operationProficient in script programming (Python, Pytest) for test automationInterested in hearing more?
