Chemours is seeking a Cyber Security Engineer to join our Chemours
Cyber Information Security team! This position will report directly
to the Enterprise Security Architect in our Wilmington, DE or
Remote location.
This role will serve as a technical leader for the Data, Cloud and
Endpoint protection function within CCIS. The ideal candidate will
have significant expertise and experience in operating and
optimizing technical security controls for cloud and data
protection technologies. The candidate must have strong skills in
Azure Security, M365, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Endpoint
Protection as well as experience with enterprise risk management
and vendor relationship management.
The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited
to, the following:
Provides technical leadership and subject matter expertise for
cloud platforms, cloud-based system and application security during
design and implementation.
Designs and develops security engineering documentation for cloud
and cloud/hybrid-based systems.
Designs and implements cloud-native and 3rd party architectures to
meet business requirements with the appropriate security
controls.
Assists with the development of strategy, roadmaps, and deployment
plans for enterprise information protection and cloud platform
usage
Build and maintain strong relationships with various stakeholders
throughout the organization. Liaise with other security teams to
ensure security delivery across the Chemours global
environment.
Maintains up-to-date, detailed knowledge of the Cyber security
industry.
Identify and remediate gaps in security configurations in the
evolving cloud environment.
Monitor configuration management for deviations that may increase
the attack surface of our cloud infrastructure.
Conduct PoC (Proof of Concept) work to evaluate emerging security
technologies.
The following is required for this role:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Cyber or Technology focused
position
Possesses a firm understanding of Azure Cloud Platform and M365
security offerings.
3+ years of direct experience across the Microsoft Cybersecurity
Reference Architecture (MCRA) with an explicit focus on cloud,
endpoint, data, event management and Identity & Access
Management
Experience working with enterprise class Endpoint DLP and DRM
(Digital Rights Management) solutions.
Understanding of cloud security capabilities and risks and ability
to translate security frameworks such as CIS Controls, NIST CSF to
actionable security configurations
Understanding of Zero Trust and familiarity with ZTA as defined in
NIST SP 800-207
Hands on experience with managing applications and containers
The following is preferred for this role:
Certifications with corresponding experience will be used as a
differentiator: CISSP, CISM, OSCP Microsoft certifications etc
Strong understanding of the MITRE ATT&CK Framework
Conduct technical analysis against impacted systems to determine
impact, scope, and recovery from active and potential cyber
incidents
