Job Description Associated Fuel Systems, Inc. (AFS) is seeking dedicated individuals to join our team. We are a certified Cummins dealer with a full-service diesel engine and machine shop. Currently, we're searching for a Class B Diesel Mechanic that is self-motivated with high personal goals and objectives. Primary Job Purpose: Working under supervision to maintain and accomplish minor repairs on diesel powered equipment Responsibilities: Run diagnostic tests on heavy-duty diesel-powered vehicles Assist mechanics on repairs Analyze diagnostic test results Test drive vehicles to gauge performance Perform preventative maintenance Maintain detailed records of service vehicles Qualifications: Three years--- experience in diesel engine repair Advanced knowledge of diesel engine components Mechanical aptitude and problem solving Proficiency to operate all types of vehicles, equipment and tools Able to work in a fast paced, demanding environment Good interpersonal skills with Supervisors and Co-workers Valid driver---s license with acceptable driving record Ability to lift heavy equipment Willing to obtain factory certifications Pay / Benefits Competitive wage Complete benefits package --- health insurance, vision, dental, 401K Paid holidays and vacation AFS is growing rapidly.
